    Rottefella NTN Heel block position

I'm mounting a set of Freedom NTN Large bindings and have downloaded the paper jig from Rottefella. Boot sole length is 306mm, so as expected the heel point is between the 300 and 310mm screw markings on the paper jig. The front mounting and support plate positions are fine.
I guess I should mount the heel block at the 306mm point?
    Can anyone confirm?
    Thanks.

I just eyeball the placement of the heel piece - mount the toe piece, clamp the boot in, and line up the heel piece where I want it using the boot heel as a reference, make some marks with a grease pencil, then drill 'er.

I assume with the raised heel lifters in the centre of the heel??

    ^^^ This. ^^^
I never use tele jigs to mount the heel pieces. Just mount one of the toe plates then use the boot itself to line up the heel pieces.
Measure and mark it on one ski then just reproduce the same measurement on the other.

Not necessarily. Line it up to the heel of the boot with the lifter DOWN (and the throw latched to the boot). NTN bindings have ridiculously tight tolerances on their heel piece placement. The heel block can end up contacting the toe mechanism if done wrong.

Also when eyeballing, make sure the lugs on your boot won't knock the climbing post down. I've seen it happen a few times where over a lot of steps this can happen but it's rare with NTN.
