No pics, but sun came out and made for a beautiful day.

bout in what we call Steamboat Lizzie on the tlp ridgeline

davenport skied well and not a lot of instabiities noted in that hood
    packey

no mouthy jongs observed on the skinners up to flanigans

plenty of snow being transfered and redeposited though

flannies skied great and instabilities imited to sluffing on cuts

    Road now closed until 3.

Was driving a shuttle down to the Tram Center, Saw a kid coming out of Westward Ho from the Cat track down to the bypass road between the Powder Ridge Condos and the Ben Hame house. Slab pulled out a couple feet above him, probably 30' x 30'. Stopped in the middle of the road, buried up to his waist. Dug himself out and walked away pretty shaken up. He had a GoPro on, maybe that vid will surface.

Time to go skiing, will update with a pic in a bit.

    Edit to add pics

Started out up Mineral this morning with the goal of skiing some low angle stuff in there, made it about 10mins up when I had a nice wind pillow collapse on me on the road- it was ~120'x10', nothing moved and we felt most of the instability was isolated to the steep road cut, but decided the risk of a small pocked pulling out and knocking you into the creek bottom to get to low angle terrain wasn't worth it. Ran into Mark and Trent on the way out and chatted with them about conditions. Headed up to short swing and found some good skiing and plenty of face shots. Plenty of sluffing, cracking, whoomping in the new snow even on the lower angle short swing stuff.

Anyone up for a dawn patrol tomorrow? Everyone I know can't go tomorrow for some reason. Thinking Beartrap, short swing or other lower angle bcc areas. Hit me with a pm.

Right? That is the standard final, glorious turn of a proper Bus Run. Hundreds of days concluded right there.

South facing funnel into Mill A. Previous slides were se facing into Butler Basin.
No previous fatalities on that path. Weird line choice given the conditions.
