I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

So, I genuinely want to know, what factual information you are looking for? Please, be specific as possible. If you choose not to answer with specifics I'll continue to assume that you have personal beef with the avy center.

It was our first year at Alta so we didn't really grok what that was about, saw the crowd/line for wildcat and never waited around. We'll be there next weekend though, would be fun to take a lap and/or have a pitcher on the GMD patio (for all Alta mags)

Also the first weekend they're closed I think a maggot ballroom / baldy chute day is in the cards...

Of greater interest are the now three explosive-induced wet slab avalanches to the ground in the Cottonwoods over the past two days. The two in upper Little Cottonwood released with 4 lb air-blasts, pulling out 3-5' deep and 1-200' wide, running on damp facets near the ground. These on steep northeast facing slopes at 10,000'. Debris piles were impressive. Control teams in mid-Big Cottonwood yesterday also triggered a 3' deep and 70' wide wet slab to the ground with a 2 lb air-blast on a west facing slope at 9800'.
the control teams operating mid big cottonwood canyon udot? powder birds? Cnl. Mustard with a boo strapped 2lber in the room of doom ?aren't any ski resorts in mid bcc which most would consider millb to spruces and a lot of terrrain so some facts would b nice
and the fact that a forecaster needs 4 days to release avalanche incident facts at a world premier "fireside chat" is bunk in mine and a host of others books.

The brownies were popular in the OC, but they caused way too many left behind skis, chairs, phones, and anything else not accounted for before consumption.

OK, I'll give you that this is partially valid, they could have given some more info. Granted, they only get info that is shared with them from the control team. So, maybe foster better relationships with said control teams? But you know the elevation, aspect and the effects. If you'd known the exact GPS coordinates of the slide and the name of the person that placed the charge would it have changed your decision making?

4 whole days??!! For an accident report that includes a death, 4 days is nothing short of an amazing, ball busting effort on the team that investigated and wrote the report.

It's too bad you are frustrated, but for a season of complaining you managed to come up with one, half-valid complaint. Your main complaint seems to be the social media and what you term "fluff." Don't use that content if you don't want it. I think the Snowbasin weather page is a bunch of useless bullshit so I navigate right past it and go to the snowstake link.

After looking at the west slabs / medusa face / zeus / whatever-it's-called since I moved into this apartment, finally put some turns where I can see them from my couch. Went up with skiATL on an extended lunch break... looked white enough to ski at least.

We got kinda lost on the way up in an absolutely heinous bushwhack... eventually made it to some white stuff.

Snow was honestly not too terrible considering the t-shirt weather. Some avy debris was kinda ugly but otherwise not bad.

That's what I've found frustrating about the transformation of the UAC over the last couple of years. They'll get my support again when there's a bloodletting and certain forecasters are forced out, but not before.
