Looks like its about that time again...checking in for the season. In trying to make it the best one so far, I got in on a ski condo across from the Hyde Away Inn and a 420's pass at the Bush (last year I can get one, might as well). First season pass to anywhere (except Wachusett and Highland) so I am amped to be getting up there and looking forward to getting some laps in with some mags this winter! I think I'm more excited about getting even more use out of the splitboard than riding the damn lifts, especially for some early morning MRG skin laps.
Praise to ULLR! Here's to a great season for everyone and much stoke being posted in here.
Got a two-fer to Kton for my first turns but probably won't use it until day after Thanksgiving. Pretty sure T-Day is not going to help me fit in those orange pants...

Great stoke already!
didn't bring the skis, but a few more pics
stoked to meet up with some mags this winter!
Are you living in that far flung place? The tales I have heard.
So SR did ski T2B. I checked the website several times that morning and called and the report was just the top. Did not want to make the drive if I was not sure.
Big big props go out to Allspeed and Chris Carleton for putting on a great night with Andrew McLean, great local beer, food and movies from Black Diamond. Shop is sporting a line up of equipment for the ECRC crowd.
For the free beer and food thank you: http://store.allspeed.com/ online or across the parking lot from TraderJoes in Portland if you are in town.

Thanks for the props! We were super psyched to see a big turnout like that, I'm glad you had a good time!
Sunday River started the day with more than enough snow to open lower punch. There was a rope across punch at the mid station but almost everyone started ducking it, then they dropped the rope around noon or so. The line at the mid station was bad, I got two top to bottom laps in before people in line at the mid station even got on the chair.
Weather models not looking great - no real windows of sustained cold for the next three weeks at least. Patience.
Woot! Number 9!
Couldn't make Ullrfest but psyched to get after it this year. Any mags going to SR tomorrow? Going solo, gotta make some turns!

/\ not like i made it to magic days this year but i would have liked to help out, im pretty sure i can get my hands on some ass-less chaps to complete the look. Great news for the area, free mini -> harpoon
Certainly loving that Ascutney news, get your rope tow gloves ready for some hot lap arm stretching.
What would a new roll call be without a new German Flats crash photo? Wonder no more as I came upon this crash scene on my way home from ULLRfest, approx. 150' south of the north access road was #11. Took me a while to have clear road behind to stop and snap a pic. lest I become #12.
Saw Freddie Viens moving a PB600 to North, wide load indeed.
