Shakshuka is my wife's go-to car camping breakfast. Never done bacon(shame!) but load up the feta.

All the corned beef talk has me tempted to try one. Anyone have any tried and true recipes? I'm generally pretty happy with recipes from Serious Eats but their version has a lot of complaints in the comments.

Just cover it halfway in liquid and throw it in the oven for a few hours. Not much to recipe about. People use water, sugary sodas, beer, stout. It won't suck no matter how you do it. I di see a sous vide recipe recently but it takes 12-13 hours.

Serious question. Won't the bacon overpower the filet? I like filet. So much that I like it raw, chopped with s&p. Of course I don't dare eat commercial beef that way. I know, bacon is usually not a wrong answer to any question.

I like liver too. We raised our own beef when I was a kid and I miss that.
