Did you post her on swedespeed, com? Oops, see you sold her already. They do sell fast. Did you have Atacama leather? 6 speed MT?
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Atacama, yes. But not a manual.

    TDI models are TBA.
Fingers crossed for a TDI, 4Motion, 6 speed manual SportVaugen. With a cherry on top.

Yo Beer Drinker: (or anyone else who cares to opine)

Thinking of doubling down on our wagon allotment and are considering the new V90 T6 or the Merc E350 wagon. (Would love if we got the 5 series wagon here, but that'll arrive the same day the TGRAudisled does) what would you put a customer in?

Pros, cons? Too early to tell on the V90?

The fully loaded V90 is $70k, which is to much for me.

Jalopnik is full of TGR approved goodness today:

Anyone looking for a 5MT Saab Gary Fisher wagon?

I'll quote Clarkson again, "saying a car has been lowered is just another way of saying it's been ruined."

I think they edited that out of Clarkson's speech.

Anyone drive a V60 yet? Same platform as the S60, but with the hatch. Looks pretty nice. Looks like a base model (well appointed) 2015 with ~40K miles can be had for around $20K.

Haven't driven it yet, but went and looked at them and saw it at a car show. I thought, (as well as the folks I was with), that the Audi and the BMW were better designs. You sit low in the thing, and the back is a lot smaller, (but may look better to some people). The V60 T6 seemed to be the cool one, T5 still had 240 hp though. Polestar too pricey. It also had weird electronic/bluetooth/nav/ issue. I followed a Volvo forum on them for a while, then quit. Still, if it had an MT, I'd be driving it right now.

Edit: If my wife saw this, I would be driving it now also.

Great crash ratings ... duh. Wonder if it feels substantial on the road. Would be bonus if the T5 engine didn't sound sound like a 4. I need to go and drive one.

Fwiw I have yet to meet a modern Volvo that doesn't feel substantial on the road. Wife has the T6 (300hp) in her XC70 which is great and has lots of pull. I know they changed that to the T5 in this year's model so I wouldn't expect it to suck too bad.

I have had many Volvo's and they have all been tanks. Top that off with the turn radius of the Queen Mary for my V70R.
So I looked at the new VW Alltrack, as there is no way I am spending $70k for the new V90 and 170hp just does not excite me.
I guess I am driving the V70R into the ground, as there is nothing else out there like it in Mureca.
Wife retires in 4 years and we can move to Yurp or Canada then. I feel the wagons of Yurp calling me.

I wonder if the turn radius on your R is a model specific thing? Wife's XC70 and the old 760Turbo I had in high school had/have great turn radii.

Yep, all the R's had the HUGE turn radius. Whatever, I just don't try a U turn unless I have about 4 lanes to work with.

Do those R's have massive Brembos? Pretty sweet if so!

Next fall, this will be the only "Wagon" people are talking about.
