    I'm an old bastard because of grammar

    I just learned that you only use one space between sentences these days. I've been working on that all day and it's kind of a bitch to retrain da brain. Not in here because i don't give a shit, but on my bs emails at work. Not that anyone really cares...or do they? A quick search and the grammar natzi SS are everywhere. Sometimes even in here.

    i think two spaces after a period look stupid

    Spacing is a matter of style, not grammar. I see that DD beat me to that one. I once double-spaced after each sentence, but now single space because that's the default on my word processing programs (MSWord, WP).

    I always double space after periods, but on my phone it just puts in an automatic space and I live it.
    But DD and Big Steve are right. I think it's just stylistic. As long as you're consistent across the block of text, you're good.

    I always went with the concept that as long as I could fix shit nobody really cared what my writing looked like at least until some word nazi here on TGR complained so now I make an effort to end a sentance no space after a word-period-one space.
