I went in for a pair of Freerides, 184cm, glass only. It's worth repeating everyone's observation -- Keith's customer service is phenomenal.
48 hours left. Pm me for a code? I also need another referral.
wait!!!! waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwait...Wait!
Zoolander wasn't a documentary?
Just ordered up some MAP 187 Concepts...Tsunami graphic.
As mush as I am stoked to get these in my hands... I'm equally happy to be supporting them.
So, I'm all set to purchase some Freerides with the MAP fiberglass core. Big question is: which top sheet to go with? Struggling to decide here - if anyone has pics of their topsheets, would love to see how some of them look outside of the photos. I'm leaning towards Wooden Pink, Crystals (this year's Protest topsheet), Cherry Grain, Leaf 4Reel or Above the Clouds. Convince me of one or of another, only 24hrs to go! Thanks!

Above the Clouds:
I don't particularly like this one, but it's because I just think it's kinda boring. The finish, colors, etc. are all great. Between myself, friends, and randoms I've seen most of the pre-2016 graphics library in person and in general if you like the design of the topsheet, it will look great in person. I will say that Waterfall and Tranquility look more grainy in person than I expected, and IMO Snowflake and Snowfall look like somebody threw them together with clipart in MS Paint. Everything else I have seen looks really good in person.
I'll try to take a photo of the rest of my Praxis collection tonight, since it seems like "what does X topsheet look like" seems to be a common question. I should probably make a thread for that.
^^^ That does look sweet, imo. You are a Freeride fan, correct? Where did you mount? I'm thinking +1, but am looking for some input and will contact Keith re: as well.

I have one pair of Freerides tele and one pair with Dynafit. The Dynafit pair is on the line. I wish I had gone -1, but tend to prefer a fairly aft, traditional mount and frequently mount my skis back. Keith tends to prefer a more forward mount and I imagine will have some good input for you. I'm not unhappy with the mount on the line, I just think I'd like -1 better.
Those are actually older 180 Backcountrys, which I sold long ago. I currently own older 189 RX, the two pairs of 184 Freerides mentioned above, 187 GPOs, and 187 Protests.
Both of the stained glass topsheets look awesome in person, IMO.
I'll definitely throw a topsheets thread up tonight.
I have the stained glass topsheet on my SnD....get a complement nearly every chair
Which stained glass?

Stain glass MTN
In case anyone missed it, Muggydude was kind enough to start the topsheet and base graphics thread here: http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...Picture-Thread
adrenalated, did you mount your those Axl/Vices farther back than the AT mount on the other pair of Freerides? Hard to tell since you pulled the binders, but it looks pretty far back relative to that one.
Praxis hunting me down. I swear every Google ad placement I saw on the interwebz is a Praxis ad, thundering "end of custom sale - buy buy buy!!!"
In other words - nice ad placement Keith.
Yeah, there's two things going on there. First, the recommended line got moved 1cm forward when the Freeride got a minor redesign in 2013. Basically, the tip and tail got a little more taper, and the mount moved forward 1cm. The center of the sidecut did NOT change as far as I can tell. You can see the taper difference in the photos, especially in the tail. And second, I always mount tele bindings 1-2cm behind the recommended line for alpine mounts.
So my AT mount is on the line, which is the same as the line on the current Freeride. The older, tele pair are mounted 2-3cm back from that. The AT pair has inserts for Dynafit, so you can look at the GPOs and kinda get an idea of where the boot toe would be on that pair.
