What part is missing from my non-EPF Dukes?

I'm planning to sell some used non-EPF Dukes with about 60 days of resort and 15 days of touring (zero slop) but one binding is missing the round circular cap piece on the heal and the other has one damaged. What is this piece called, it's purpose, and can/should it be repaired/replaced before using this binding again?

I noticed this a while back but still put 20 days or so without any issues. I would still ski on them but want to make sure I don't screw some body over if I sell them.

Warranty them. Then sell them as new.

I contacted Marker on replacement or warranty options but I haven't heard back.

Rludes025 that's be great if you did. I didn't realize you could replace this part specifically so I bet marker or a dealer could send me new ones.

Technically its not removable. Be it will screw off the back with a strong twist. I do have one that is well used but not damaged like yours. Let me know if you want to go this rout.
