    powderproject.com

I have a feeling many people will have a problem with this, especially when their formerly secret stashes start showing up on the map.

Meh. Most people who know where the goods are know better than to share it on some web site. So far zero entries for California, 71 for Colorado. Ha.

I got the email too... untracked snow is becoming a scarce resource, a lot scarcer than rock. I like mt project... but my initial thoughts on this are thumbs down.

So far no one has posted anything you can't find with 5 minutes and access to google. Somehow I don't see this taking off. Back country skiers are the most selfish, powder hoarding bunch of no share weenies I've ever met.

This. MTB Project isn't as used as Mountain Project either.

Oh, I know. But I like that they're being shut-out in CA. We have some obvious shit too... if you drive up 80 it's pretty obvious. Or... maybe it's not. Nevermind. We don't get any fucking snow anyway.
