Whats the point of smart watches? Is anyone actually using these things? A step from smartphone to full on Dick Tracy do-all communicator?

Get one for your wench and program it to know when she needs to get her ass in the kitchen and make you a sammich.

All the peeps who think that glancing at your watch during a meeting is any more polite than looking at your phone are on crack. I'd rather talk to someone who consults their phone once or twice in a meeting than someone who is constantly looking at their watch.

You do realize that they're selling a $350 version, right?

No I didn't. Been too busy to check it out since the release. That makes a difference though I don't think I will buy one. My phone already occupies too much of my attention bandwith as is. Besides I like having a real watch on my wrist. It gives me the delusion that I am somewhat off the grid in a small aspect o my life.
