Maestrale with a custom Strolz liner $$$

Big money, but for those with f'd feet or extra cash, these would be very nice to have.

I've been riding Strolz alpine boots for quite a few years now and I would never go back to a normal stock boot...but, my feet are high arched with bunions that look like a sixth toe Therefore, these AT's might be in my future.

Like my regular Strolz boots BUT after just two seasons the rivets are rusting and top buckle keeps popping open. I had Surefoot previous 10 years but went with the Strolz because nearest Surefoot was 7 hours away at Whistler which can get expensive if the boot needs some adjustment (my experience Strolz and Surefoot both needed some adjustment).

Wonder how the SCARPA Maestrale would be as a C-grade advanced downhill ski boot? I don't hike (it's a gravity sport) but it looks like a better quality boot than the Strolz and without the crazy "German engineering" of the infinitely adjustable Strolz.

If he can do the Maestrale, he can likely do Maestrale RS or maybe Scarpa Freedom (flat sole, fits in DH bindings)

Yeah, I'm not sure what the deal is exactly. I was going to contact them with that exact question. I'm wondering if they bought x amount of the Maestrales and are just selling those as a complete package.
