I'll be up there clogging the line, maybe carpooling with NmbrdDays. Looking forward to it, thanks for throwing a day on the calendar to make it happen VTF.

First name and online handle are fine. Just start making a list, copy it and add your name to the end. If you do not add your name to the list, you're S.O.L.
Where is this list? Had originally planned a CO trip then but Magic beats that right now! Are there enough shot skis for all mags in attendance?

Anybody can start the list, roll call style. Put your first name and screenname down, and then the next guy will copy & paste that shizz and add to it. We've done it before and I believe in you guys. You can do it, man!

    Dear Magicsnowbeard/You all know it:
Please use the transpose function in Excel to change rows--> columns. Proper formatting will ensure all listee's will obtain their discounted tickets in a timely manner. Thank you.

My apologies, like Magic I'm old school, more of a Lotus 123 guy. Asking me to use the transpose function would be like asking Magic to install a high speed six pack.

So does this Skifari take place both Saturday and Sunday or just one or the other?

Oh and remember, 'cross country skiing is for advanced skiers only'.

I'll tell him both days, just in case.

Or just put your screenname down. I'm sure you'll be the only one claiming to be you haha

I'll be there. But I would be there anyway because I have a pass and stuff. I will be prepared to stay Saturday night and entertain offers of floor/couch space to facilitate that.

^ I think you mistakenly posted using the wrong account.

Looking forward the mass invasion of maggots next week. Should be fun.

Lol nope! A simple hose blew and it was back up within 90 mins. That's "order food and by the time you're done you're skiing again" territory.

Honestly I'm glad it stopped haha... I had to laugh when all the fairweather Joeys lined up for vouchers (even after the ticket office told them the lift was going to be right back up) while the regs shrugged, ordered a beer and some food and waited for the chair to spin again- and when it did it was "ski on the chair for the rest of the day". Fwiw though, I bet most of those crybabies just did it for the free pow day the following day after realizing their legs were roasted- and everybody was gone by 1:30 Sunday too which also cracked me up. Both days, big lines in the AM and no line towards the end of the day and awesome conditions. It was great. Hopefully we can schedule another shutdown for next weekend around the same time.

Hey MNIAW - was your food order done by the time the lift got going again?

FWIW - I was told that only one lift was running to the summit of Stratton on Saturday and the lines were insane as a result. Probably a bunch of folks lined up over there for vouchers as well. The new management at Stratton is either trying to save $$$ by not running lifts (and blaming wind) or is super conservative as I keep hearing that the gondy is closed consistently.

That looks steep. Is there an easier way down?
