Tonight 10pm
It's been announced that the season beginning now (not the previous season that finally got loaded to Netflix) will be BCS's second to last season. In other words, next year's season, season 6, will be the last.
Season 6 (first two episodes out of 13, in this final season) airs on April 18.
Season 5 comes to Netflix on April 4.
Went to see Odenkirk a couple nights ago discuss his new book. Interview format. Sorta interesting but the interview was rushed and cut short. I think I’d rather hear David Cross tell comedy horror stories, but got Bob’s book for the price of admission. He talked at length about the heart attack and it was way more serious that it sounded and it sounded pretty serious at the time
Quite an ending for the mid-season finale...
I am going to miss this show when it is gone. It makes me want to re-watch Breaking Bad to see exactly when in Saul's career it takes place.
Regarding Kim, I can't help but think back to the preludes in the first and second episodes of the season when Saul is selling donuts, or whatever.....

Right?
BB takes place entirely after BCS (except for the Cinnabon scenes). Saul doesn't even have the Caddy yet. Cinnabon scenes are flash-forwards to the post-BB timeline.
I do not see Kim's future working out well either, but I don't think it's entirely beyond the realm of possibility that Kim and Jimmy were still together in the BB timeline. Whatever happens, Kim made her bed and is no victim.

I am kinda hoping that he was on the phone with Kim at the end of the flash forwards

Flashforwards are when Saul is in witness protection in the future. I'm not so sure that they are post BB, but it has been a while since I saw those episodes.
He's not in witness protection. He got a new identity from the vacuum cleaner guy after shit hit the fan in BB: https://breakingbad.fandom.com/wiki/Ed_Galbraith
Wow. This show is so fucking good. Rhea Seehorn not having an Emmy award yet is a crime. The guy who plays Harold is also fantastic. Really just phenomenal casting / acting top to bottom.
I'm gonna say it, I think it's better than Breaking Bad.
^^ Harold? Do you mean Howard? Yeah, the whole cast is great.
Who knew you could spin a can after it gets shaken to get it to settle?
The second half of the final season starts tonight.
Thanks for the reminder!

That didn't suck.
Interesting transition.
Man what a great final season so far. What happened with Kim is about what I expected. She's always been conflicted so it matches her character.
