Help with Guardian Size and brake width

Looking to pickup a pair of Salomon Guardian's to put on my 120mm waist Armada JJ's

My boot sole length is 314.

I'm thinking the 115 mm brakes will be fine and bend over the skis just fine and be better than the 130 mm brakes that will not tuck away as nicely on the skis.

Not sure if I should size up or down on the bindings since my boot sole is right in the middle of the size chart.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

May have got ripped off by the shop that mounted my ON3P Goats, but they swore up and down the 115 brakes wouldn't fit? And Goats are like 117 or 118?

Not sure what you're on about with BSL?

Without removing some plastic they probably didn't fit... That being said there is a shit ton of plastic on these brakes, most of it just begging for the dremel.
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

These are AK JJ's in a 195? The rest of the JJ series maxes out at 117mm . . . either way, the 115 brake can be bent to fit no problem. I have them on 117 Atomic Autos and 118 Bonafides and they work with no grinding or bending whatsoever.

Get the small unless you want to let someone with a BSL over 320mm use the skis.

Right on, you're right about the JJ waist, 117mm.

Looks like I'm going with size small with 115mm brakes.

    Thanks for the help muchachos

Many shops are unwilling to bend brakes. If they snap (and they do snap sometimes) the shop has to buy you new brakes. So the easy solution is always to sell the slightly wider brake. There should be no ill effects for you with the slightly larger size. No biggie.

The larger size of STH2/Guardian brakes is 130, not the best solution if you ski terrain >45 degrees, through vegetation, or switch.

Personally I would go 100, but 115 is not terrible.

FWIW, our shop is willing to bend most brakes 10mm. I've got 100mm brakes on some 115mm skis, but the brake starts to lose effectiveness when it's bent that far.

I've got 100mm STH2 brakes on 103mm Atomic Rituals, and they work just fine with no bending.

BillyGoats are 116mm and the 115mm brake fits just fine without really any bending needed.

Can brake can be replaced if 100mm would be to small? Asking just in case.

I use the 130 mm breaks on a pair of Rocker 2 122. They don't really stick out. Certainly not to a point were they would catch anything while skiing. I don't see how this would be a problem.
