    Arcteryx Phase AR base layer

Anyone who has actually used the stuff care to offer up an opinion?
Especially how it compares to Icebreaker.

The arcteryx stuff is made out of plastic so its gona wear way > any kind of wool IME cuz all my wool stuff is full of holes, when i go to a BC lodge everyone is wearing wool that is full of holes but at least it doesn't stink. the place to wear wool is t-shirts next to skin and all the other layers can be plastic

I have some, think it sucks, for sale if you want it.

Patagonia is the way to go for base layers in my opinion.

hey y'all, this is Tripp from TREW. Like many of you, I've had lots of issues with durability of my merino layers. To date, I think Patagonia has been best in class, but i have some Patagonia merino pants with holes in them from just pulling them up! We've been researching the merino category and believe we've found the solution with a technology called NuYarn. It's been proven to be 16% stronger than traditional merino used on the market. Additionally, it's 25% warmer, 35% stretchier (key for durability), and dries 5 times faster than the merino used by every major player in the market. We'll be revealing more about this line (will debut next fall) in coming weeks/months, but you can get a first peek at our development on our blog.
