$9.70 per gallon in the US. The $1.3T a year military cost divided by 134 billion gallons of gas a year. Actually just $6.79 a gallon since gas and Diesel account for 75% of US oil use.

Of course adding in pollution costs like the snow killing global warming and $300B per year oil trade deficit and you could legitimately say over $10 a gallon cost for gasoline in the US.

It's a boom bust cycle that the Saudis refuse to subsidize with market share.
Saudis and rest of the world, including your own link, seem to disagree with your view.

    Your Bloomberg link says:

Saudi Arabia and its allies are seeking to drive high-cost producers from the market, Hall said in his letter
    Forbes says:

Saudi Arabia's $750 Billion Bet Drives Brent Oil Below $54. Brent crude oil falling on Monday below $54 a barrel for the first time in more than five years, it is clear that Saudi Arabia is making a massive $750 billion bet in 2015 that the oil kingdom can endure lower oil prices longer than other major oil producing countries both within and outside OPEC, even including American shale. A flood of new oil from U.S. shale producers and Canadian tar sands companies coupled with softening demand from China may have set the stage, but Saudi Arabia is now firmly driving the process that has seen oil prices plunge in a matter of months.

Both just reporting the reality of current drop in gasoline prices driven by Saudi to kill US oil industry.

    JHC. You're right

Global demand dropping and us production rising is the cause. Supply and demand. Saudis aren't doing anything to supply except stay the course. They do know this will impact high cost producers, whether it be marginal us shale or other non OPEC but in the end, Saudi isn't in a big oil war vs us

    ^^^^Holy SHIT!!!
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Shit....$2.61 for premium today. Still, that is better than $4 a gallon.

Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....
