Are you slow? The reference was to the temperature change, it happens every night with the lack of solar heating. It shouldn’t be a surprise during an eclipse, even a partial eclipse.

Just because this is my field of nerdery I'm going to add my 2 cents; The temp drop is commensurate (fuckn multi syllables and spelled right!) with the relative humidity. On dry days the initial temp drop will be more dramatic because there are fewer water molecules holding heat in the air, H2O cools more slowly than O2. A solar eclipse has the same effect as the sun nearing the horizon late in the day.

Just saw a stat that 2 guys in the NHL (Mcdavid and Kuchero ) hit 100 assists for the season this year, and they were only the 4th and 5th guys to do it.

Along with those 2, Bobby Orr and Mario Lemieux each did it once. So 4 total seasons from 4 guys.

Wayne Gretzky is the 5th guy. He did it 11 times. Impressive.

I'm watching Kucherov's 100 as I read your post. At 17 minutes into the 2nd. Lightning have been trying to set it up all game.
Meanwhile Matthews had 12 SOG, 13 if you count a save made by a defenseman on an open net. And a crossbar. But no number 70. I think he was skating every other shift.
