    Discount Code on point6 Socks

Hey all, a little spam and a little opinion, and a little hookup.

I've been an athlete ambassador for a little while for Point6. Great folks over there, that really do it for the love of the outdoors.

I have tried a half dozen different companies the last few years, and a few different materials. I have to say I love merino wool for all of my socks now. I'd like to spread the love with 25% off.

Go to www.point6.com load up your basket and use:
    p6apfriend2014
    at checkout.

    Happy shopping.

How do the point6 ultralight compare to some of the other merino options out there, say for example vs the smart wool phd ultralights which is my current go to ski sock?

I'd say they compare favorably. Similar design, better wool.

I'd concur with the quality of the wool. Top notch.

Weekday bump, this code expires at the end of December....
Lots of questions coming in via PM:

The ultralight is thin, be perfect for those that reference dress socks as ski socks

I like a tight boot, the most cushion I've used is the medium, but usually prefer the light for most of the winter and the ultra from like February through May.

bought a couple. Biggest feedback is that all the socks are super ugly looking. Not that it matters so much.

Yeah. It just seems like the slow board selection was pretty weak. It's either tron feet or an argyle pattern that wouldn't even have been cool in 2007.

    Thanks for the hookup!

So is the only difference between the different 'Light' socks the colors? Kind of confusing to call them Carve Light OTC, Pro Light OTC, etc. Makes them seem like they have different padding or features.

Might be better to just put all of the 'Light' graphics on the same page if there's no difference in the actual construction of the sock. Unless there is an I'm missing it...

I think the new site is going live soon. Not sure if they'll have all that answered or not. In the mean time I'll get you some info.

I think they are all the same except for the parallel... they don't seem to have the shin cushioning. I'll let the web dude know that it isn't very clear.
