    Stan's solvent????

Wondering if anyone's got something that works for getting rid of Stan's and other sealants?

-I've got it on my garage floor. Pressure washer doesn't seem to take it off.

-I've got it on the driveway. Pressure washer will take it off, but the shit is tenacious. A couple spots, you can see where I started to damage the concrete by dwelling in one place too long with the jet.

-I've got it completely coating the insides of old tires with a thin brown film. Sometimes the film exfoliates and other times it's pretty well fused to the rubber. Either way, getting it ALL off is a PITA. Pressure washer seems useless, combined with no practical way of holding the gun with one hand and holding the tire with the other hand while it wriggles around like a cobra. If I'm in a hurry and I need to patch, I'll pick off just the area around the patch with my fingers and then clean it up with alcohol, brake cleaner or paint thinner. I know the shit on the inside doesn't really matter that much, but if there was some way to exorcise it, I'd be psyched. Thinking about setting the wheel up "tubeless" with some kind of powerful solvent and sloshing it around for a day or two to see if dissolved sealant comes out.

-Rims. Shit is sun baked onto the sidewalls. White rims look like shit. Nothing seems to touch the shit, like it's some kind of 3M space aged polymer. Shouda put it on the Space Shuttle.

    Anybody have anything that works?

First person to suggest I switch to tubes can choke on my cock. I understand the validity of your opinion, but this thread isn't about that debate. I'd rather deal with this shit than tubes any day of the week.

I've gone at that stuff on aluminum frames and rims with simple green. It extricates it fairly well with some muscle.

Once I've had latex in tires, I just consider that tire a 'tubeless only' incarnation. It grabs tubes so efficaciously, it seems pinch flats be foreordained.

As far as your garage and driveway substrates, just rub some dirt on it yo.

Just for fun and the hundreth time...

And I will not choke on your "mini pump" jm2e as I have one bike tubeless... and I have porn star sprayed it all over the place...(that shit stains by the way...my favorite riding shorts are speckled with tubeless jizz... )
I would suggest a smooth riding course so you dont have to re-seal so much

Yea, this is exactly the response I expected from you lot.
Was just checking in case someone had a secret magic bullet I hadn't heard of yet.

Maybe I'll just go back to tubes then.....

tubes...because they flat. I'd rather spend 20 min in the garage getting my tires set tubeless than 10 on the trail changing a flat.

Have you tried a citrus cleaner? I've had varying levels of success on various stains with off the shelf stuff or SVST Agent Orange. I could try it on some Stan's and let you know.

I still don't see the issue. Been using Stan/slime mix forever. Who cares if there's dried residue in a tire you hung up in the garage before mounting it again? And if some gets on the frame or rim exterior, simple green gets it off.
