I'm just saying there was probable cause to stop him, the cop was not harassing him telling him to get out of the street. in fact, michael browns buddy who was with him, has in fact been living his ass off all week, which won't help bring justice now. at first I was shocked they did not take his statement that day, poor police work, now after being pumped and primed by everyone with a racial agenda the kid's statements will mean nothing now.

kid was shot after all agree there was a physical altercation between the cop and he, even his buddy admits part of the fight was in he car where the cops weapon was obviously in reach. What really happened at the time of the shooting, or the 7 shots after that, and what counts, we don't know. but this race baiting conference is now over. Move it to another city.

Maybe the cop went overboard after the altercation and shooting started, but I'd bet that kid was poking the bear and that cop thought it was gonna be him or the kid going down and he chose to put the kid down. You put 100 people in a situation like that, race aside, and there's gonna be a dead kid on the street every once in a while.

Moral of the story...don't rob a store and then try to rough up a cop and you won't wind up dead

The racial profiteers that came to town and coached Browns buddy to lie has done this town no favors. It's really incredible sand bagging by the St. Louis pd, almost makes me wonder if they just planned it this way, let all the relevant witnesses lie and it will help our fellow officer?

You know, the one thing witnesses all claim to have seen was that Brown had turned back to the officer WITH HIS HANDS UP and surrendered. So however shit got started, there are still two huge issues here. One is why the cop emptied most of his magazine into a guy who had already been hit and quit resisting. Second is why the county police went apeshit over the three subsequent nights and got so out of control that they seemed more intent on violating the first amendment than keeping the peace.

I got news for you: Rodney King was guilty (DUI, fleeing police). Abner Louima was guilty (public intoxication, drunk and disorderly). Eric Garner was guilty (selling untaxed cigarettes). Arthur McDuffie was guilty (suspended license, fleeing police). They weren't angels. But then they were beaten half to death or actually beaten to death AFTER the police got them down on the ground. That was the issue that upset their communities. After cops kill a perp in custody or one trying to surrender, the whole "did he do it" thing just goes out the window...hell, Rodney King was a convicted armed robber fresh out of prison (attacked store clerk with club and cleaned out register) but nobody cared about that after they saw that video tape.

Shouldn't matter unless the "you" is a cop. They are trained to deal with these situations. The cop may very well have been justified in using deadly force, but I'd like some proof of that. There certainly have been a lot of "shoot first, ask questions later" scenarios around the country in the last few years.

I the the cop went to far, but what is clear now is that he was looking for a robbery suspect, and he found him. he did not tell him to get off the road for no reason, and he did not grab him by the neck for no reason like the race batters want you to believe. the facts seem to be that a fight ensued, brown likely over powered a cop on duty by himself, ending up in the car where one shot was fired and probably justified. What happened after that, the seven more shots, hands in the air etc. needs to be brought to light.
