    Reno mags, stuff to do?

A friend is headed that way for a few months for work, only has weekends off, need to get away from the heat and crowds. I know, Tahoe, Yosemite, Mammoth, ect, but where can one go to get away from the crowds, see some cool shit, and maybe end up living there for a while. I've been a few times a decade ago but we were partying pretty hard so don't remember much.

    Any recommendations for Reno/Tahoe area?

Go to Tahoe on the weekends (it's crowded), go to Pyramid Lake as well (not crowded).
Big desert lake, warmed up Tahoe water, lots of beach.

We always had fun up on the Sierra Crest north of I-80 up towards Portola, CA. Also down off of Carson Pass was always fun and less crowded. The whole west shore of Tahoe had endless hikes, There were crowded favorites, but plenty of less crowded scenic trails up into the Wilderness. Thomas Creek up into Mt. Rose Wilderness area was always a winner too. Hwy 89 down towards Markleeville and Topaz were nice too.

This weekend please visit my daughter at the RTIA Reno Tahoe International Art Show at the Convention Center. She is at the Summit Gallery Park City (#502 or 602). Say hi, and buy some FKNA amazing art

Just found her on their site. Jesus Christo, she's gifted. Well done, amigo. Her scriptures are fucking rad.
