It's got both, flat 4 and a round seven.

There's no spray paint on driveway... so unlikely.

Unless, of course it's parked outside his timeshare?

You know what Jeep stands for? Just Empty Every Pocket. I learned from a buddy with a Wrangler. Options to add toys to a Wrangler never end.

Road washed out/trenched from snowmelt? No problem. Patch of soft snow for 200'? No problem. 100 mile drive at 70 mph to get there? No problem.

I have a 1947 CJ2a and a 1974 Jeep J10 that are useful for the hardcore stuff. I have a 2000 WJ that does the same thing the XJ did, but perhaps a bit more comfortably at the cost of worse fuel economy.
Agreed. I've had a Cherokee, a couple 90s grand Cherokees, and a '79 cj 7 and the cj was by far the best. $500 for a decent body + 3" suspension lift + 350 small block + headers>glass packs + turbo 400 tranny, and the fucker did wheelies for not a lot of money and I didn't do most of the work. My wife wants one of the newer 4-door wranglers but I might have to veto and surprise her with a minty '69 commando...

Full size jeeps are like all the bad parts of a small jeep, but bigger.

Nice cherry picker! I was always a fan of the rez version with a couple small trees and a chain hoist.

I came into possession of a '99 Dodge Durango (I'm in CO, of course my primary is a Subaru). It is rusted to shit, the horn doesn't work (alarmingly important safety equipment), rear wiper just for decoration, rear window doesn't work, I warn everyone that rides in it to have good hiking shoes (for the inevitable time it breaks down). I put a new battery and new 31" General Grabber AT2 tires (largest tire it can handle stock). It is the best fucking vehicle evar. Having an old ugly car makes off-roading fun. I'd advise spending as little $ as possible for a strong engine, get good tires, and laugh when it gets scratched and dented.

All week long in the sun with the top down around town and some FS road exploring. Hooozah!! I tried putting the top up and it took 15 min for the top and 3 hours for the rear window.

First repair with new holes, beefier hardware and performance upgrade.

Lay everything out in the sun to warm up before you try to put them on.
Never try it when they're cold.

Love the bungee cord mod there! But the obvious solution to that problem was to remove the doors entirely and hang them in the garage until winter.
