Possibly For Sale: Aspen Core Soft Bros

    in the Denver area.

As much as it pains me to do so, I am probably going to have to let my just-arrived soft Bros go. The ski looks badass, and at this point we know it performs equally well if not better, and I have no doubt it'd be perfect for me, but my quiver is already bloated, I'm satisfied with the (5 pair of) skis I've got set up already, the Bros haven't been drilled (so it makes more sense than pulling a binding from one pair, paying to have them mounted on the Bros, and then trying to sell the old pair already having been drilled), my season is winding down, and of course, I'd like the money.

I was going to put them up at the beginning of next season, same price, same terms, etc, but I figure, if someone happens to be itching, and is in need of a killer ride for the spring storms and summer corn, I may as well offer now. I was looking forward to being a BroRider, but it just doesn't make sense for now. When I get desperate, I'll take MD9s pair out for a day if he lets me.

I'll sell em for what I got em, $450. I'm not going to be bothered to ship them, so you either need to be in the Denver area, or can come and meet me somewhere in the vicinity.

Post interest here, no PMs please.

I'm interested but not in Denver. Options include:

    1) Can you wait until the end of May? I'll be in Denver for Memorial Day weekend. We can figure out some sort of deposit plan if you want.

    2) You decide that shipping skis to Wyoming is not so bad.

    3) You bring them on your next road trip to Jackson.

    Laramie,

I'm not sure when but I'll figure some why to get to Green River this spring. If you can pick them up tomorrow/sometime before late May, I can send you $$$ tonight via PayPal so you'll have the moola to pay Yos.

    Yos,

If you don't mind waiting until the end of May, I can just pick them up myself and save Laramie the trouble.

My brain is starting to hurt but I think the Bros will be worth it. Laramie, if this works out because of your help, not only will your karma be on the rise but I'll have to figure some other way to hook you up.

    Yo,

I know you said no PM's but I dont like the idea of putting my phone number on the board. If your box is too cluttered, ask phatty to send a copy of the PM to your email - I fully explained shit there.

I leave at 9AM tommorow, and have a shit load to get done tommorow morning before I leave so paypal to me might not work out this weekend, maybe the best thing to do is paypal to you. I will be traveling down that way again sometime next week to take a friend car shopping.

I will have my cell on all day - if it is a no go then don't worry about calling, but if you need to setup a meeting time and place call asap because I need to know well ahead of time due to the conference I am attending.

    Yo,

What's the word? Should I just send you the dough and pick up the skis in Denver in May and save Laramie the hassle of trying to find you this weekend? I have friends in Denver, too, that could meet you and hold onto the Bros until I get there.

You can email me at phattypowpow at staltown dot net if you want to figure out the nitty gritty.

    Thanks

You should give up and let fondig have 'em. That way I can "borrow" his and never give 'em back.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

sorry fellas, just saw this. Let me read and I'll figure out what to do. I have no problem passing the skis on to someone on faith, with details to be worked out later...

    ok, phatty, they're yours

I could definitely find Laramie today, but getting them to him, while fun, doesn't get them to you all that much faster, and it sounds like there's some uncertainty about getting to green river when he'd be there.

Why don't I just drop them off with one of your Denver friends, and you can paypal me?

I don't have a problem with passing them to Laramie and then having you paypal me whenever, but it seems like it makes it harder than needed? Either way, it don't matter to me.

I'd hand em to you Memorial day, but I'm not sure where I'll be. Right now, might be in the California backcounrty.

I guess the only question is if you want them soon, so you can have em right away. Given the storms lately, maybe I should just get off my ass and ship them to ya! Could you use them this April if I sent them out today? Do you have binders for em, etc?

I could probably use them this spring since I have pair of freerides sitting around but it's not critical. If you don't mind shipping them, that would rule. Give me a shipping cost and I'll PayPal you the whole amount today.

I just sent you an email with my shipping address.

If you don't want to ship, though, dropping them off with my Denver amigos would be fine, too.

    Thanks for motivating.

PS Laramie is The Man for trying to help make this whole thing work for no personal gain.
