    One of my favorite things about climbing Cathedral Peak in Tuolumne is the number of soloists who cruise right by you.

    Mt. Olympus. The slab on the right, West Slabs, above the snow. Popular climb here, lot of people just run up it, being 1,000 or so of 5.5.

    Mid August-iffy forecast and we were the only ones on that side of the wall on a Sunday. Weeks prior I witnessed a 9 team clusterf--- in the north chimney on a Thursday.
