    Jackstraw (lived in cow hampshire for a time...) - is that shot inbounds at resort formerly known as squaw? Granite? or not the same thing...

    I had a conversation with a classmate for 1980, who said Stein was his ski model ;
    we never even mentioned the guys that came "on the scene" after that ;

    Schmidt is still my guy -
    I played Legends of Ahhhs last month. it is my understanding ScotSchmidt is still out there - an elder ambassador for Skiing!

    I watched most of Blizzard today while working on some body parts, trying to get em ready for the season. There's a sequence that runs from about 36-41 minutes in that always gets the juices flowing. Ripping bumps and zipping around mach schnell on big open faces! So good!

    The years keep ticking by, but that skiing will always be timeless.
