Sounds like Fred was trying to run over tourons?

Sigh. I left my house in Central Park at 5:44. I was 20 minutes too late. Traffic started slowing by 58 to Golden then was a standstill at 470. Google maps added 45 min to my eta from when I left the house to there. I bailed at the Morrison exit and went home. Awesome.

It’s almost a solid red line of traffic from Floyd Hill back to Denver. Ep-ikonic. (TM)

Passed 470 at 5:45. Slow going over Floyd Hill but never stopped. Enjoying a leisurely breakfast at A Basin currently.

It’s already 9:05 and still showing 2.5 hours to Loveland from my house (normal time 1 hour with no traffic)…haha

Anybody try that Treadshare carpooling app? Looks like you can get paid a small amount of money to sit in traffic like you were gonna do anyways and be less of the problem

In a former life I was heavy into carpooling. Did it for several years, met some cool ski buddies and budettes. Decided I didn't like coordinating with strangers at odark30. Also too many showed up with colds or cologne or whatever of the many annoying things random people do.
I actually own a few different Carpool URLs I never bothered to implement if someone wants to help me build them out.

What's up with the sling bags the frangers are rocking this season? The backpacks were already good comedy, but I can't imagine skiing around with some pack flapping around on one shoulder all day.

Saw this slide rip down off Loveland Pass about an hour ago after walking out of BML. If you zoom in you can see someone(?) on the ridge. Yikes.

Should a snowboarder wear it on their lead or trailing shoulder?
