    Went through DIA on Friday and then again yesterday. Never seen so many unhappy people, ever. I only had one leg on each side and was delayed over 6 hours total. The airlines are completed fuckered.

    Hmmm, I also went through the Denver airport yesterday en route to San Diego. Half hour delay while they scrambled for a flight crew. Didn't cause any problems for me though, direct flight.

    If you are traveling I70 today, best of luck.

    Also, I noticed that CDOT is naming some of the plow trucks. "Darth Blader" and "Cheese Ball" are a few. That's pretty awesome. I know and work with some of these guys on occasion and they are cool as hell. So give the plow drivers some respect. They are doing a damn good job with a shoestring budget and shitty pay. Not their fault that half the dipshits on the road have inadequate equipment and skills for driving in snow.

    Conditions were spicy in spots, but made it home from Basalt in about 3.5h.

    Been a long time since I drove through the belly of the beast, but my daughter has a ski race at Keystone tomorrow. Would like to be there 7:15ish, 7:30 is absolute latest. What time do I leave Lafayette? 5:30? 5:15? Obviously need a cushion, but also don't want to get there way too early.
