185 Chubb vs. 185 Pocket Rocket

I'm familiar with, and like, the PR's. The only thing I disliked was their inability to bust crud due to the soft tip. How do the Chubb's compare? I know the FB is basically a stiffer Chubb (wood vs. foam), but I don't want a burly/heavy ski. I really like the lightness of the PR's. How do the Chubb's compare to the PR's weight and stiffness.
How much heavier/burlier is the FB?

my buddy skied chubs this friday while i skied my PR's

Chubs are stiffer, have about the same side cut but a few MM more of width. They are much more heavier than the PR's - i would say almost twice the weight, but he has demo binders on his chubbs. I didn't ski them, but did some flexing to compare.

Chubbs are much heavier than the PR. They are also stiffer (however just about all other skis are stiffer than a PR) and have better edge hold. Yes, the Chubbs blast through crud well. However, the PRs can deal with crud in a different way. With their very soft tip they sort of "conform" to the crud.
BTW - I have demo bindings on my blue noodles. I moved them about 1 cm back. This allows me to ski them more agressively/forward and seems to quiet the tip down.

get volkl karmas. Slightly stiffer, heavier than PRs but not like the chubbs. Get the 185's if you want float, 177's for crud and every day skiing.

    whats your weight and such?

    5'10", 175lbs.

Thanks all for the info. It's very helpful.
I'm probably going to give the Chubbs a try, mostly because I can get them for cheap. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't buying something I'd never use. They don't sound like the perfect all-mountain ski for me, but for the money they're probably going to be OK until I get back on the board more.

edit: just to be clear, I'm talking about the new V2 Genesis Chubb, not the old ti Chubb.
