The Fed relies more on Core CPI because of the shortcoming in broader CPI. I thought it was a well known fact that the Fed is on record as using core data as its primary inflation gauge?

Setting that aside and to the larger point, are you arguing that 0.1 or 0.09 is somehow meaningful in the broader context? Doesn't it fail the smell test in the sense of what that implies? If so, that's a really innumerate facile argument because that would mean annual inflation in 22' was somewhere around 1-percent.
