Will 11sp sram chain work with 10sp cassette?

Considering building a 1x10 around a front 28. That means using an xx1 crankset/chairing and (I assume) an 11sp chain.
Will the narrower chain be OK spinning a 1070 cassette?

So the extra width on the 10sp chain doesn't effect the front?
The tight chain/chainring interface is supposed to be the reason for no chain dropping.

It's a combo of the clutch derailluer and tooth profile. Search on Google and read the multiple threads on mtbr. I have dropped mine twice over 60ish rides, but both were pedally downhills where I shifted and didn't pedal right away. Amazingly quiet, totally worth it.

The inner width of 10spd and 11spd are the same. The outer plates on a 11spd are thinner to fit between the narrow spacing on the 11spd cassette.
A 10spd chain is what you want to run with your 1070 cassette and xx1 chainring.
