If anyone is headed there from NoVT before the weekend and can grab some demos from me, you can use ours until I come down on Saturday, DW. Almost all of our fleet have Adrenalins mounted.

I appreciate that but I am good, I usually just get jacked up before a pow day by helping to shovel out the chairs.

I really have to say though, if any of you Magic peeps are even remotely interested in a ski literally designed and named for Magic... Now is probably your only chance until the STE Freeride Tour to give 'em a rip- and Saturday should be a great day to take advantage of the way they lay waste to chop.

I was originally going to leave by 7 to be up there before 9, but it doesn't look like there's been much accumulation yet and it's wicked cold. So I may start a little later but will definitely be there: red Marmot jacket, orange Patagucci pants.

Yeah only an inch or so down at the moment. Today will be good. Tomorrow will be the real deal.

Take it snow.. local rds on the East side of VT are slick, and because this snow is so light and fine, viability sucks when a vehicle goes past in the opposite direction. Have fun out there everyone!

Tooling around on someone elses skis this weekend sounds like a very, very good idea!

Unfortunately, the Mrs had to go into the office today, but we will be heading back up tonight or mid morning tomorrow - depending on the weather.

If there is something specific anyone wants to try, post it up, I may not be able to bring the whole fleet. Won't have tent set up and stuff, as I plan on skiing for the day, but can meet up with folks to put skis on feet.

Got the hall pass and will be heading up first thing Friday morning (5AM) for the day.

Let's hope they get enough snow with this storm to make the mountain skiable.

Peruvian - I'm inserting my Magics for the current 916 setup (@314mm) and Vice/Axls. Should have them mounted and back up to Magic in a couple weeks if you'd like to take a tele-spin.

I'm heading for a warmer climate for the next few days -- first time heading to warmer climes during winter. I tried a mid-winter trip to Jamaica a few years ago and got snowed in @ Newark Liberty -- looks like Ullr is actually letting me leave this time, but not without penalty. You're all very welcome.

Dave Goodman has our 168 Humpbacks currently, mounted for tele, will be inserted when I get them back. We will do the same with the 178 Georges we have at the same time. So, not for this weekend, but when we come for the Freeride Tour day, we should have at least those two.

The mrs has a pair of 170 karhu jils she might loan out. They're her rock skis so we'll see if we get enough snow for them to not be necessary. 5" down so far though with a lot of time left on this storm.

I have a pair of well used 164 Bro's mounted (for likely the umpteenth time) with s912's for a BSL around 266 (I think). The wife ski'd them for a few years, but put them away 2 seasons ago and hasn't taken them back out since getting her 179's. You can borrow them, and if you like them we'll work something out. I'm pretty sure she's going to want me to keep the bindings if you buy the skis tough. The only caveat is that DW said he wanted them for his lady friend last spring, but we never figured out the details. So I guess he gets right of first refusal if it comes down to selling the skis. If I've got room in the box, I'll bring them up tomorrow.

Holy shit today was good. Last run down witch to black resulted in about a dozen face shots.

God please hammer us again tonight. Even a decent dump and this mountain will be 100% Vtah.

I had no problems whatsoever with the base keeping me off the rocks but I am ~170 and on Magics. I scraped in a place or two but I was getting a bit silly and was asking for it tbh. Any rollover or lip was insta-faceshot and I wasn't bottoming out. I hope to God the wind blows some more snow into the trees as the pines were a little thin still but I think we could be ok. Fingers crossed!
