I don’t need to be tripping my balls off every time I go ride…. Anyway, mt Spokane was going off today! Tomorrow should be good everywhere.

You looked like you were just getting started when I left

Thursday the 29th I finally made it to 49* North it nuked all day and it was a ghost town, storm skiing on a empty hill is one of my favorite things, the tree skiing there was a blast, Tmokes showed up on a snowskate I don't know how people do it with out bindings in those conditions. I was going to make the trip earlier but pushed it back after seeing the 10 day forecast and I'm glad I did, it was some of the best skiing I've done in awhile

Friday the 1st I went to Schweitzer, I haven't been there in ages and I wasn't disappointed , plenty of new, almost no waiting in lift lines and good visibility. Tmokes made it again but on a board this time

I did have to take couple more runs after you left to shake it all off for the drive home. Just wait till you do the tree runs at Mt Spokane if you like empty powder trees run.

I'll be watching the weather for the next couple weeks and if it looks favorable I will try another 2 binge, this time 49* and Mt Spokane

Friday was a great day- what a treat to get back to the ski area where i basically learned to ski at during college, and with those kind of conditions, wow! Was the 2nd track into pucci's and had one of the better runs of my life down the left side- the kind where you just go fully charging in over a rollover and for whatever reason you end up on the right line, in the right turn cadence at the right speed for the terrain the whole way down. Just pillow poppin, minidrop, bottomless joy. It was fun leading my wife around trying to remember the nooks and crannies from +15 years ago. The Mfree108s are just the perfect 1 ski quiver for me- I brought protests, but never once felt that i should have been on them. The new lift configuration on the backside is a bit of a head scratcher now though-i much preferred the old snowghost.

Are there any tricks for cheaper tickets at Mission? My wife is headed to Wenatchee next week for a hockey tourney and I was thinking about tagging along and going skiing instead.

Try the Chamber of Commerce, they usually have a limited number of free day tickets. Do you have a Loup pass? They give full reciprocity iirc.

No Loup pass but I'll try the Chamber. I think I'd heard a buddy grumbling that the deal changed between the Loup and Mission and there are even more limited free days a year. It used to be Mondays were free at Mission with a Loup pass but now I think it's only 3 days a year.

It kind of makes sense with how much the Loup limps along every year.

Skied Silver for the first time today. Super fun mountain. Still pow to be found in multiple zones. Pretty cool unique setup. Lots of options if snow is good back to town (assume that’s rare)

Thanks for the offer. In Nelson skiing whitewater now. Will be back to silver for sure at some point and will hit you up. Seems like the type of place with some nooks and crannies.

Anybody else heading to Schweitzer tomorrow? I don't really have time but I gotta get at least one day skiing during spring break. I'll be on the weird old Wrenegades protos, I just wanna go fast.

Same. Except I just wanna go deep! I'm probably too late to mention but if you see green over purple wallowing through the fog ask for change.

^^that looks more photogenic than the foggy basin. Very poor skating conditions. Mostly soft landings, though.

Visibility is overrated. I had a great time at Schwizz and big ups to Jono for showing me the goods!
