Was foggy and cold but I found my way over to 4 and tagged along with a local that was skiing my speed. I certainly wasn’t expecting knee deep freshies almost all day but I was pleasantly surprised. Silver is always this good right??? Thanks for the tip. I doubt anywhere was better today!

It wasn’t nearly as foggy today as Schwiz usually is. Just a little foggy. Wardner didn’t open today but should tomorrow and will be incredible when it does. Just some thin coverage over there so watch your skis if you’re on your beloved M-frees!

Don’t bother worrying about whether or not you’re slowing SkiLyft down on the traverse, he’ll let you know if you are.

Agreed man — slow me down? I’m skiing ON3Ps with some of the slowest bases known to human kind hahah.. traverses are not fast for me!

    2013/14 Inland PNW thread

I was supposed to head to PDX this afternoon for some meetings tomorrow, but with it nuking in CDA I made a last minute decision to try and get the last couple hours in at Jackass. Took forever to get up to the hill so I wasn’t even skiing until 2:00pm but ohhhh was it worth it. Face shots nearly every run. Still plenty of untracked stashes. It still blows my mind what you can find up there at the end of the day.

Still dumping and with what was left at the end of today, it’s gonna be really good tomorrow too. I’m off to my long drive. Hope some of you can get the goods tomorrow!

Sick!! -40 windchill will be brutal the next two days. Tomorrow is my last day of the week to work but I doubt I’ll ski Thursday with those temps.

Hell yeah!! I’ll be up there tomorrow AM for a few hours before I have to work. Awaiting a 5am text from a Silver employee to see if they will even spin chairs with the temps.

We were heading up to Schweitzer for a few days before the holiday weekend but, too cold for me. Something like -45 wind chill. Did that when I was younger and frostbit my toes. No thanks.

Just got word they won’t open till 11 tomorrow due to cold. I bet there’ll still be lots of stashes left for Friday. I doubt very many people will be making laps tomorrow.
