    help-a-jong day

Alright kids, I've been working on finding that sweet ski in the 100 underfoot range, but am open to all options really. As an ex-racer, I enjoy a ski that can really rail GS turns and have owned many races skis, rossignol sc97, fischer misfits, salomon shoguns and salomon czars. The last few years I've been getting more into skiing switch and throwing bigger tricks in park and bc so with that in mind, I'm looking for a more playful ski that can butter 3 and nollie/ollie as well as be damp enough to land cliffs and carve hard without worrying. I've liked the shoguns for its allround ability as well as the czars for its powder and cliff stomping awesomeness, but have not been impressed with the czar's carving ability (granted their turn radius is on par with a freight train).

I've been looking at the following:

    Armada tst
    K2 Kung fujas
    Rossignol s3
    Lind blend
    Blizzard bonifide
    Dynastar 6th sense slcier

Any recommendations. favorites? Help a fellow mag out!
Ya can't get hurt in the air, its those sketchy landings that suck.

In my expert opinion, all of your stated options would be appropriate.

Come on... only people that never touched a GS ski say a ski rails like a GS ski.

You're not going to find a ski that rails and carves hard, but is also appropriate for butters and presses. Those things are on opposite ends of the spectrum. I have a pair of 2013 Blends in the quiver and they're a pretty all encompassing ski. The early rise will help you butter and they have some decent flex. The early rise will also add a little float benefit in powder for bc, and they're stable for every drop landed I've had with them. They're not super stiff, but they're a confident stable ski.

From your list, I've skied the Armadas, Peps and S3s - the Blend is more versatile than all of them.

Your ski choice should be more about the design on the top deck than anything else.

ah here is the tgr responses i needed! cheers! i'd like to error on the damp/stiff side of skis and have no clue if a ski exists with an even keel on both. For the blend, has anyone skied the blend and had the same feeling? Rocker is not that big of an issue, but I'm looking for standard camber and sidecut. I've really enjoyed the old watea and misfit. another jong question: did the big stix replace teh watea?

I wear mine for riding the chairlift, not for avalanches. I'm waiting for some snowboarder seated next to me lighting up a cigarette, I will pull the ripcord and blow his ass off the lift.
