    front range avy classes?

I am looking to try my hand at a little BC and would like to get informed. I have done some reading, but no hands on. I have no BC gear and not exactly a lot of money. Could anyone offer up some suggestions of a good Avy class to take in the Denver/front range area? Mucho apreciato.

Not exactly cheap, but the Colorado Mountain School schedule would be a good start.

There's an Avalanche Awareness seminar at the Colorado Mountain Club in Golden tonight at 7 PM. It is free to the public and a great opportunity to pick up some basic knowledge. I'm bringing some students tonight, so if you show up say hi.
