Random crappy thread: looked up gaper

    heres what I found:

    gaper

    \Gap"er\, n. 1. One who gapes.
    2. (Zo["o]l.) (a) A European fish. See 4th Comber. (b) A large edible clam (Schizoth[ae]rus Nuttalli), of the Pacific coast; -- called also gaper clam. (c) An East Indian bird of the genus Cymbirhynchus, related to the broadbills.
    so I'm a clam eh?
Its not that I suck at spelling, its that I just don't care

urbandictionary gives no pronounciation keys. i've heard both possibilities in real-life situations, though in all honesty to pronounce it as 'gap-er' the word should require an extra 'p' in there.

this is getting too serious, so, to wash off the taste of literacy, i suggest we all visit the second item in urbandictionary's description of the word 'gaper'.

    in all its glory:

    No, you're not a clam.

Instead you start threads like this. You say your self it's random and crappy, but still you start it. And why isn't it in The Padded Room if it had to be started at all?

That is why you are a GAPER!

Took the words out of my mouth. You get enough stick around here as it is, and how you're deliberately bringing it on yourself? For fucks sake man, have you got ADD or something?

Do you realize that you've just posted an admission of ignorance so breathtaking that it disqualifies you from commenting on any political or economic threads from here on out?

Easy fellas. If he wants to be a (bearded) clam, then so be it.
I just like the fact that the definition for JONG in the urban dictionary quotes its source as Powder Maggot.

Proof that WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD's diction!!!!!!!!!!!
Monty Python's version of the cougar phenomenon:
"This is a frightened city. Over these houses, over these streets hangs a pall of fear. Fear of a new kind of violence which is terrorizing the city. Yes, gangs of old ladies attacking defenseless, fit young men".

    JONG

JONG - Jack-Off-Newbie-Gaper. Used in skiing to describe someone who is completley new to the sport but has no idea what they or doing, or why they are doing it.

An example would be a new skier that asks the ski patrol: "where do you put the terrain park in the summer?"
