I'll admit I was a little suspicious, but if the FBI says it's 100% safe (actually it's so safe it's Safe with a capital "S"), what have you got to lose?!!

(I sure would like to know just how much money these guys get like this.)

I got one a similar email three weeks ago and sent my $120 in. However, I still haven't received my winnings. If another week passes I'm thinking contacting the FBI to claim the $3000 penalty fee which payable to only me.

Excellent. Maybe you send $240 to be double sure there aren't any problems.

Glad to see the FBI is helping us collect our Nigerian lottery winnings.

hundreds of millions a year. And the shitty english and off putting phrasing in all these letters is not a mistake; it is there on purpose to weed out the skeptics. If you reply to an email like this you're much more likely to actually send them money.

Hey, when you get ahold of John Freeman, could you get me Mulder or Scully's number? I'd like to tell them I was a hudge fan of their documentary show from the 90's. Thanks in advance!

Really? Mind blowing that these scams have been around for so long and still work.

I get what you're saying about the language though. Someone dumb enough to fall for this is probably barely literate themselves so the language in the letter doesn't throw up red flags for them.

That's BULLSHIT. I watched the entire Tour de France on Al Jazeera...and I get nothing from any alphabet agency. You just sit on your ass and the FBI offers you $800K...FUCKING BULLSHIT!!!
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.
