I have 72 separate Excel spreadsheets I need to print out.
Is there any way to do this that's more efficient than opening and printing each one?

If the cell locations were identical, could you do a vlookup table and put it all into one sheet?
By the time you figure it out, you'd be done and 4 beers deep with just doing cntrl p

I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.
hold down control and highlight all tabs and print or just create pdf from those and print that.

They are all individual files, not tabs in one file.

^ This.
You may not be able to print all 70 at once depending on the size of documents. but should work for batches of them at a time. You'll need to make sure your print preferences are set to be spread sheet friendly too - landscape, size to include all columns print all active pages...
There is software that'll do this on large scale but not worth the time let alone $ if this is one off thing.

I just opened all of them, so now I have 72 instances of Excel running on my machine. Still no way to print from more than one at a time...?

try right right clicking on one you see the print option there?
now select two of them right click - still see print option?
try a bunch more say 10 at a time.
Excel will briefly open each one and send to print.
If you don't have preferences set correctly they will all be fucked up though.
Ultimately might be quicker to do one at a time now rather than later.
Face palm.
I give up.
Have you tried turning it off and on again.
They can be printed without being open. Not sure why you aren't seeing your files. It works though.
the files were all created from a single template that's formatted for printing a single page in portrait orientation, so no worries there.
Okay, just discovered something - if I select only a few files then I get a "print" option in Explorer but if I select all of them the menu is missing several options, one of which is print. I guess doing it in batches is still better than doing each one individually.
Thanks!

Open control panel, open printers, right click, click see what's printing, drag files from directory into box, say yes when it asks you if you want to print multiple files. Assuming you're on da windows.
Living vicariously through myself.
Exactly That's it....
PDF are far easier. there are some pretty good freeware tools that'll let you do effectively limitless PDFs.
This one is super simple for starters http://www.freewarefiles.com/Multipl...ram_24346.html
Thanks again for the help. I had no idea you could print directly from Windows like that, much less multiple files.
This machine will let me print 15 files in one batch, good enough.
