The Robot Apocalypse is Upon Us

Yea...."save me from a crumbling building" or tear my arms off and walk through walls......

Give the Army about 30 days before that thing has a Vulcan minigun for one arm and a flame thrower for the other.

    Humanity is FUCKED.

when it can complete a military obstacle course then I'm worried.

but when the new world order decides its time to fire on its own people, this guy will be the perfect candidate for urban/gorilla warfare.
with body armour and wepons it couldn't weigh much less than 500lb ???
We, the RATBAGGERS, formally axcept our duty is to trigger avalaches on all skiers ...

I'm more worried about what the Japanese can build -- they seem to have much more of a cultural fascination with humanoid robotics.

A true robotic killing machine won't be bipedal. WAY too slow and cumbersome.

We probably shouldn't go down the robot warrior road since the Germans will build better ones, the Japanese ones will last a lot longer and the Chinese could make about 100 times as many of them.

Do you know how complex it is to get a robot to shoot a bow and arrow?

Just watching an old Star Trek episode in which Data decides to pursue a relationship with a female crew member after she gave him " a passionate kiss in the torpedo bay."
