Anyone else thinking the FA will approach Klinsmann for England?

Call me crazy but I kinda liked Klinsmann.

You can only do so much with our talent. And I think he's done a pretty good job with them.

I like Klinsmann well enough. Results haven't been good but I would have kept him through qualifying and maybe WC.

Klinsmann has been considered but England should go with Southgate.

I see Bruce Arena as a step back. I don't want him. Glad Bob Bradley is otherwise engaged. I'd have Big Sam in a minute but that will never happen. I think a different European coach would be best. Not really sure who though.

Todd? I thought you were Scott?

This sums up my thoughts better than I could.

Big step back by firing him. Let him work US Soccer and develop players through the system. It was going to take more time than they gave him and he was doing better than many of his peers.

You Klinsmann defenders should read this Tweet:

    https://mobile.twitter.com/MLSist/st...rc=twsrc%5Etfw

Still think he is the best option out there?

And let's not get started about how he never accepted any blame for terrible performances. He didn't do that until Costa Rica. Too late.

How about constantly tinkering with formations? What exactly was our style of play?

When a guy makes $700k+ a year playing for his club team in a fairly specific role week in and week out maybe that is where he should play, not somewhere else. He constantly played guys out of position and with little rhyme or reason.

So he won 60% of our games. Have you not seen the shit teams of Concacaf? Loses to Jamaica, Guatemala, a draw against T and T are USA stupid.

It was telling during the Mexico qualifier when Jones and Bradley went over to the bench and told him his bullshit formation that the team had hardly ever ran needed to be changed.

We don't need a sexy European name. We need an American with a steady hand who can clean things up and get the USA qualified.

So the MLS Eastern Conf Final between Montreal and Toronto is delayed because the penalty boxes were painted on the artificial turf too small?

They should call the guys at the NFL HoF Stadium.

Arena is a very good coach. I predict good things.

We just weren't successful under Juergen. Period. He gots to go.

Damned tragedy - Brazilian Copa Sudamericana finalist team plane crashed on the way to the finals in Columbia - most of the team killed.

IN a classy move their opponents are asking that they be awarded the championship

Ya. Super sad. I've read that Brazilian teams are offering to loan Chapecoense players for free so they can continue as a team and apparently PSG is sending them €40 million.

Just horrible football. After watching EPL on Saturday morning, this MLS Championship match looks like a bunch of high school kids chasing a ball around the field.
Thankfully it was only 7hrs from the completion of this "match", until an EPL match on Sunday morning.

Yeah I don't know why I even try to watch MLS any more. What little I saw was poor.

Edit: the Juventus v Torino match was quality

That would be an amazing story. They had a pretty easy group. I believe the London Betting houses have Sevilla heavily favored over them in their next CL game. We shall see. They are really, really missing Kante.

    FULLMATCHESANDSHOWS.COM QUESTION:

I can't figure out how to watch highlights without the playback being jumpy. I tried disabling popups, which worked for a day, but then the videos wouldn't work at all. I am also on my work computer and have to use internet explorer.

    Any help appreciated.

Thanks to the enterprising folks on Reddit for the site above and others that stream via Playwire:

Pro tip if you want to download from this site, which I like to so I can throw to my tv without lag:

Turn on your developer tool in your browser (if it's not already)
    Show source
    Ctrl-f "config.playwire.com/21772"
You'll get a few hits and in one of them you should find a data-config that looks like this: //config.playwire.com/21772/videos/v2/5155651/zeus.json
The "5155651" part is the unique video id. Just replace the xxxxxx in the link below with that unique ID, go to that page and then you should have a video that you can download.
