i see it as that but the problem is that i also see it as a bad scifi movie that could have been really good without that.

i always think of cult films as being either a little messed up (drugs, sex, violence, dark humor) and/or something to see a little messed up. usually why they are played at midnight movies. also good sick day movies. just last week i was down with stomach flu and watched heavy metal and wizards back to back.

^^there was quite a bit of sex, violence, and dark humor in Starship Troopers...

Wizards + Heavy Metal = great double-feature, btw.

Pretty much everything featured in this film is cult:

(I humbly recommend Turkey Shoot aka Escape 2000 aka Blood Camp Thatcher...)

Yes. Unless you are an ELO fan, or trying to bone a fellow high schooler, there's absolutely no reason to watch it

Caligula is a porn movie with Malcom McDowell. "A Clockwork Orange" or "If" or even "O Lucky Man" are far more worth the investment. just watch some gangbang pron to make up what you missed.

Wow... congrats on compiling the list of the crummiest movies ever made!! (Exception: Mad Max, which was apparently so good that you listed it twice!!"
