Those are Paramount shows, right? So on Paramount Plus streaming - - which you can get included with a Walmart+ membership. It's pretty easy to find a Walmart+ membership trial period for cheap or free, like 3 or 6 months.

Come Black Friday sale time is when I try to renew or add subscriptions. Most seem to off super low monthly prices for a year at that time. I think I got peacock for a dollar a month. TMobile acct covers Netflix, Hulu, and Apple TV for me

If they offered a discounted upgrade to the Paramount Plus with Showtime bundle, it would be very worth it to just get a walmart+ membership every year. The ability to get the local CBS affiliate is what im after. I would need a 600' to 1000' tower to be able to get it OTA. VT got screwed by digital TV.

Well, it annoys me to no end I can not figure out how to get Fox cheaply for football season. Almost $500 for NFL Sunday Ticket really does not work for me.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Side by sides annoy me. People who let their pre-teen kids drive side by sides anywhere they want unsupervised doubly so. There is a local FS road that I could drive a CRV on 5 years ago that is now a braided mess of mud bogs through every meadow and open space for the first few miles.

We've been visited by 3 different bears so far this season. None have broken in yet but just a matter of time. We've never seen more than one particular bear each year before and most years they avoid us completely because we're too close to the road.

Yeah, fuck them sxs. Since they’ve gotten popular, they’ve gotten fucking expensive. Then people started to notice how much cheaper Geo trackers were and now those fuckers have cleaned out all the junkyards around here of all my spare parts. Decent trackers are rare than hen’s teeth around here now. Damn kids! Kids.

    “Things that annoy you”
    TSA
I get to pre-check, TSA guy is yelling out: “All stuff out of pockets as it’s been for 23 years”
I say quickly: “And it’s different at every airport”.
2 guys in front of me swing there heads around and kinda nod and smile.

While Dumps is shit canning departments, get rid of the TSA. I think AI intelligence (or not) can scan plane manifests and any questionable people can go to secondary while the rest of us enjoy our day.

As much as the TSA sucks, I firmly believe that AI screening run by palantir or xAI would be much worse.

Even with the TSA in place there was a woman who stowed away on a flight to Paris. I went through a TSA checkpoint in Savannah last week with a folding knife in my back pack. The knife has a six inch blade. I went through TSA at Sky Harbor with the same knife in my bag last year. I feel more secure with trained dogs running through the airport with their handlers. My co worker went through TSA at Kennedy with a jug of lighter fluid in his pack but it was found later by a dog. the dog handlers understood he accidentally had it with him and there was no problem but +1 for dogs. -1 for the Thousands Standing Around.

Security x-ray screening is ripe to be outsourced to a Mechanical Turk-like platform, where a few dozen people offshore see the realtime feed and if someone identifies contraband, they get paid $25 bucks for flagging it. Or something like that. Come to think of it, this is actually a pretty good use case for AI, they must be rolling that out by now

I am pretty sure the current millimeter-wage scanners already use software to flag suspicious areas instead of having a human looking at the body scan image.

Once again, shit that annoys me at hospitals which I have worked in for 30 years.

Why do hospitals placate to patients who are rude to staff members and physicians. Why is it that hospitals want to kiss these patients' asses and reinforce their negative behaviors? I know it's all about money and image for the big hospitals, blah, blah, blah, but give me a fucking break, why do patients get to treat healthcare workers like shit?

I guess you're right, as I saw a headline yesterday the Dumps admin is working on getting rid of the TSA and if they touch stuff, it turns to shit.

My dog will sometimes seek an audience when taking a crap on our walks.

Car pulling up to curb to park? Time to drop a deuce!

Busy intersection? Yo, check me out!

    Ok - amusing too.
