Hm. I don't even know if anyone around here has it to try on. :/
It's just that my old Arc-Teryx Javeline (not stretchy) and the Cloudveil RPK (little stretchy, less noisy "softshell") both have some light brushed felt and the 3rd internal layer, and it really helps keep down the clammy feeling (to me, I think). I can't really tell if your answer is a yes or no.
    No longer stuck.

if you don't like the clammy feeling of hard shell you will have to deal with it in the shoulders, arms and hood, it doesn't bother me at all. The softshell panels are really stretchy like more soft than the snowtastic. The snowtastic is a complete softshell no hard/soft mix so it's completely made of that softshell with that internal lining surface, but the features aren't on par with the ones on the alakazam at least for my needs: under the cuffs gloves, over the helmet hood.

the alakazam feels much better than a pure hardshell like the MH Victorio.

It's now listed as having a helmet compatible hood and those thumbhole cuffs.
Is it really a softshell, or is it a shoftshell like goretex "softshell"?
I might just be getting my RPK fixed. That link someone gave me looks good. She's in pretty good email contact, I think I'm just gonna mail my jacket to her today.

softshell panels are really softshell, the hardshell parts are more like a gore softshell.

Well jacket is off to a legit looking repair operation in Spokane on the suggestion of a maggot. I insured it for $350, so with any luck, it'll just fall off the truck somewhere on I90 in northern ID.
