    LOCAL SHOP MOUNTED MY STUFF AND NOTHING WENT WRONG

    It was like 5 years ago and nothing went wrong.

    Do they owe me new skis? I think they owe me something because I didn't get a long drawn out thread out of it.

    5 years ago? They definitely owe you new skis.. especially if whatever binding they mounted is no longer on 'the list.'

    Just replace one screw with one a little too long. Explain you would have brought them back earlier but that you needed them for a ski trip. Threaten them with a TGR thread if they don't give you new skis (and binders too, just because all the trouble you went through.)

    I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...    iscariot

    alright, let me try to summarize this:

    The tech mounted you (your stuff), and did not give you a nipple.

    I would say in this case they should offer you a pair.

    How do you know that they didn't do anything wrong? If you didn't mount your own you're not qualified to judge. There must be millions of people skiing on bad mounts who don't even know it . . . like me.
