    Marker Jester/Griffon Post-Mount Flexibility

I plan on getting a new boot, hence slightly different size shell. Anyone know how many mm I can cheat the Jesters/Griffons if they've already been mounted? Is there a general rule of thumb for most bindings?

If it's the same foot/different boot, you should be all good.

Marker is 8mm, maybe 10 mm
I think if it was was mounted center it should work
Check bsl charts in your brand to see size difference, usually 7-10
I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

If its not working for some reason switch the rear baseplate to a demo track. You get 50mm travel.

8-10mm in both directions - larger and smaller BSL?

It depends on where the heel is in the adjustment track. Most alpine bindings have a total adjustment range of 2 Mondopoint sizes (~20mm), but it it's already maxed out in one direction and that's the way you need to move it you're hosed.

I just went down 10mm from 335 to 325 on Jesters...tech said that they're solid, but were also about at their limits. Skied three days so far and no issues.

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.
