I just see a lot of people with a 1 ski quiver, and they want to have fun in pow when it's there... other days sliding is sliding to them...

    Aren't we all....

Sometimes you get bored so you run different skis, I mean how many thousands of times can you get mach looney on a groomer when it isn't snowing.

I'll run B Squad 104's on a 1000 vert PA hill because it keeps things interesting .
You're gonna stand there, owning a fireworks stand, and tell me you don't have no whistling bungholes, no spleen spliters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker donts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistling kitty chaser?

    1. People like to ski powder.
    2. Killington gets about 250" a year.
    3. But the trails get skied out very fast.
    4. So people ski in the trees.
    5. Trees, especially EC trees, require lots of turning.
    6. In soft snow fat skis are are easier to turn.
    7. So people use fat skis.

Lol... We don't actually have any problems at Magic, we just shut down the lift periodically to spread panic and fear as well as spraypaint fake rocks on blackline to scare away all the Joeys.

Don't tell anyone though. Then we might actually have to share some of that pow.

    This^

A frontside tight radius ripper is far more useless to joe gaper than a big ski. They both will accomplish the same thing but one will at least be skiable when that huge 4cm dump comes.

OK, fine, I guess. But, if they are Easterners, finding a deep day is about as rare to them as getting laid in a ski town ( for a guy). So, they bought this ski for their annual western trip, when they can easily rent the latest and greatest? Even then, odds are 50-50 they'll get skunked.

Eh, it's not for deep days, mostly the opposite. When you have 4 inches of snow on top of rocks and leaves, floating is GOOOD.

That is the worst fucking mentality I've ever heard. I bet if you went to a urologist in a ski town and told them how you feel about fat skis, they'd sterilize you for free you gear-hating idiot.

I feel like Benny is a troll but I'll bite. I used to ride at Jay Peak before I moved west for whiter pastures, but if I ever got super high on meth and decided moving back east was a good idea and started riding Jay again, I'd for sure have a ski over 110mm in a 2 ski quiver. Hell even if I could only have one ski, I'd probably stay around 110. Have you skied anything in that range? Some offerings carve remarkably well, and I will always ski primarily for powder. This issue is a no-brainer.

    You're doing it wrong Benny.

No but seriously, are you in your late 60's? When I busted my father-in-law's chops and made him get some S7's he fell in love. He's you're age near 70 and all his Benny friends all gave him shit. Like "Oh what you think you're 18?" and "Nice snowboards" Best part was three weeks later after seeing him run laps on their old asses they all bought S7's! Every last one of them! My point is you sound your age Grandpa Benny.

people sometimes forget how much fun railing super g turns down groomers are, but they probably already have skis for that... hence they buy new skis for their quiver

My chicks sticks are longer than that. I think you need to get some more days under your belt and build up your skill, confidence so you can ski an adult size ski.

Sorry about that little chick stick hanging below your belt. Now you have to compensate with a big fat ski in the wrong place. Probably the whole moral of this thread. Betcha drive a big bad pickup truck, too.

why the hell did you buy Full Tilts?!? Hoping to get them to 85% sounds like an awful goal.

Helldorados are most likely a sick east coast ski. Definitely not a sick pow ski though.

They look good with his skis and shorts:

I'll bet 160's are great in Killington trees if your style is to ride the tails and come to a complete stop on every turn. You need a ski lesson AND a trolling lesson. Then you can enjoy the fact that the Easct Coast is currently skiing like this:

AND be a dick in a way that makes you feel good about yourself.

^^^^^ Not my pic, Eeyor, just one of dozens of similar shots from the last couple weeks in the EC Roll call. Meanwhile, you're talking about all the ice you ski, and how you know Ktown like the back of your hand. So, yeah, your missing something. Here's a new avatar for you:

Bwaaaaaaaaa....! I'm dying, that is perfect!

Benny, 160's? No wonder you couldn't get laid in Amsterdam with 10k in your pocket... But I will give you credit for finally talking about skiing. Time to move up to Rax skis.
