I'm looking for bibs to replace my old ski pants and I have a sizing question on the Nomad pants? I'm 6'2" and 170 or so with a long torso. I've tried on the Flylow Baker and the large seemed like it was too short with the suspenders maxed and the XL was big but not so big that I wouldn't buy it. Any info on sizing since I can't try them on.

    Also, any updates on durability?

Their pants seem to fit pretty close to flylow's bibs. Their jacket's are another story, not a short fat guy fit like flylow at all. I love their fit. Legit outerwear for sure. Order two sizes and send the one that doesn't work back. They are rad.

I am 6' 180 with a long torso as well and got a large in the pants, which fit great. They hang low enough to fit all the way down on my boots and not drag when I cinch up the suspenders. I think at 6'2" 170 the large would work great and will be long enough for you with some room left to adjust either way.

The jackets definitely are a different fit compared to traditional outerwear and run longer in the torso and arms, but not to the extent of the tall tee park rat style. I got a Medium and its getting used for the first time this weekend. Will report back.

If it performs anything like the pants, I will be stoked, cause they are great in every way after last season and 30ish days on the mountain. I feel like I am pretty tough on gear too. Super durable and breathes well, since i am a sweat monster.

Bumping this, cham jacket and nomad pants look sweet. Any input would be appreciated, touring, resort and kid laps in mind.

I have the Nomad bibs from a couple years ago and I'm a fan, used them for both touring and resort. Touring is where I like them the most - they're super comfortable and move well, and the vents have been good at dumping heat. If you need to cool off even more you can undo the crotch and unzip the torso portion part of the way. Kinda silly but effective.

The length of the bib section is nice, goes up higher than most I've seen and keeps snow out well. You can also zip it off for your kid laps or spring days. The front pocket on the torso is also nice for quick access to a phone. Looks like they have two of them on the newer version.

I've found the super fabric the old version has around the ankles hasn't really acted any different than other pants I've had and shouldn't be a selling point. They get cut up just as easily. Newer version looks like they've gotten rid of this?

They breathe well and feel almost like a soft shell material but have done as good a job at keeping me dry. I'd recommend them, especially if you're touring some and like the ability to zip off the bib and turn them into pants.

I have last year Cham Jacket and pants

only about 10 days total in the pant, and maybe 30 days in the jacket...

NEoshell has proven to be absolutely water proof even in downpours and snain. I ski stowe and we actually see this stuff. Its breaths better than gore tex, but not as well as some soft shell stuff I own. The fits is good 5'9 190lb L jacket and XL pants,(my thighs are 30 inches and were to big for the L pants). The jacket is slightly baggy on me

Durability seems to fine and have shrugged off some tree hits fairly easily. Ill be honest the material is thin enough I would have thought them to be a problem but so far, so good.

If I had any gripe it would be nice to have inner thigh zips on pants.

Thanks, i'm looking to give the cham jacket a whirl. Great input, i have a gore 3-layer shell and the neo seems much more breathable while skinning. I haven't found a shell or insulating/mind layer that i can tour in w/o overheating. Pulling back on the reigns would likely help...

Ill be honest even NEOSHELL i still get hot in, its just fells less moistures ridden than Gore Tex. with how waterproof the NEOshell stuff is though I will never buy goretex again. I use my Cham shell/pants for most resort days, and for wetter conditions touring days. My trusty higgins/magnum BC I use for touring when its not super wet, its heavier, but seem to breaths better(not many people agree with me that Flylow soft shell stuff breaths well) .
