    Sugar Daddy 183 mounting point?

I have last year's Sugars with a ghetto cutting board mounting plate.

Since the skis themselves have no marked mounting point I'm curious where people have mounted theirs. Can anyone measure their mounting point?

The reason for my question is I have had way more tip divage than the demo pair I tried last year before buying them (which was 0 tip divage) and have subsequently remounted 2x farther back. Its better now, but still have tip divage so am just curious where the center mark actually is.

    Cheers,

I'll see what I can dig up over the next few days- I've got a bud who skis on those everyday.. we'll measure it up if no one else chimes in.

the newer heli daddies (no plate and not twinned and 180) the center is 30" from the tail.

I would think that if you measure the 183 without the twin the center should be about the same

There's a notch on either side of the binding plate. It's just a notch on the clearcoat.

31 1/8" to boot center with the base flat. Butt the tail up flush and measure in a straight line.

Take them to a shop who has this year's Sugars or the Teledaddys. Then put them next to each other and mark the center line.

Sorry man, I was skiing on them at Kirkwood today and totally remembered to measure them when I was on the lift, then totally forgot after a coupla PBRs in the parking lot. I'll get the info tomorrow and post after skiing.

OK, so I finally got the measurements.... sorry I'm a huge slack ass. Midsole mounting point is 788mm from the tail or just shy of 79cm on the 183s. You probably already mounted these but figured I still try.

Awesome thanks. I'm going to remount them hopefully this weekend. I'm assuming the tape was flat against the ski and started at the tail even with the slight twin they have.

Finally got around to looking at this again before going to LL. Looks like I'm 1cm back at the moment and originally was 1cm forward. Unfortunately the original Atomic screws are exactly where I want to put my back screws for the on-center mounting. Might change from Fritchi's to either some Soli's or Looks to see if I can fix this for the winter.

Other thing was that I put the plate back under the binder toe and that actually helped quite a bit so I was tipped to far forward previously.

    Thanks for the info.

Haven't actually remounted them yet. This will happen soon, but I'm currently skiing rock boards so won't have an answer until Jan. I think what Kaidash said is the right place though after looking at it a lot last spring.
