Any Boston Mags going to the Dream Factory showing friday?

Going to be in Boston this weekend visiting friends and what not and was curious if any of the local mags were planning on going to the TGR premier at the aquarium. I'm driving up from CT so I can only make the late show friday night but it would be cool to meet up with some mags for a beer afterwards.

    Details here: http://www.tetongravity.com/films/th....aspx?tid=1067

I'm going to the later show on Friday with my non-mag bro-in-law. I'd be up for a beer afterwards.

What's the beer situation at the aquarium? I'd be surprised if they're serving beer at this one.

There will be a bar set up in the lobby at the aquarium. As always we welcome the enthusiasm that pre-gaming can bring. See everyone tonight/tomorrow.

You can park right at the aquarium, I think its like 35 bucks. Or you can park a little further up at Rowes wharf, or you can park a couple of places on state street. those are like $15-20

Best bet if you're poor is parking at a T stop and taking the T in. A lot of T stops you can park for free then its just a couple of bucks for the subway. Coming in on Rt 2? Park at Harvard, or Porter, or Alewife

Yea I went to BU so I know the T, I just couldn't remember how shitty street parking was down there.

Hoping I can make it, although it's still looking kinda iffy.

As for parking, if you dont mind walking a few blocks you can probably find a meter nearby... I sure as hell won't be paying for a garage!

Parking is actually not as bad in the Financial District area as you might think. You'll be getting there early enough that you should be able to find a spot. You just can't leave your car past 2 AM or it will get towed. If you're not planning to stay out all night it's a lot easier than taking the T in.

Also, anyone have an extra pair of tickets to the 9 PM show tonight that they need to get rid of? PM me if you do.

Guys, you realize no one is in that area at night on the weekends. Shit, many sandwich shops and bars aren't even open on weekends. Go down State St or Milk and turn onto one of the side streets. Parking for days down there.

EDIT... JT beat me to it.

Ahh I remember going to "The Place" on Broad St. on Friday night's for open bar. $10 got you an 1 hr and half of free booze. Hot bartenders and trashy girls, great spot. That place will be open after the premier. Possibilities of waking up next to someone you may or may not be shameful of are very good.

Any interest in seeing both the Dream Factory and Further a week later?

Ended up getting a parking spot right outside. Favorite part of the movie was the session at jackson hole. Ak is great and all but i thought the stuff got repetitive. Didn't stick around after the flick though.

I believe Mrs Gman and I will be in attendance as well. Thinking of hitting up the lower depths for a pregame.
